A Junior in the history department at Princeton University, Gabriella is from San Francisco, California. Her area of interest is African American culture and citizenship in antebellum New York City. On campus, she is a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Residential Fellow, a member of the Scholars Institute Fellows Program, and a research assistant for Innovations for Successful Societies. This summer, she also interned at StoryCorps, an oral history project dedicated to preserving and sharing people’s stories. Gabriella hopes to pursue a PhD in history.
