Jacquelyn Davila is a junior from Sacramento, California, who is pursuing a degree in History and certificates in Latin American studies and in Spanish and Portuguese. Her research interests are primarily focused on the environmental history of Iberoamerica. She is particularly interested in the ways in which pre-colonial and colonial agricultural practices shaped socio-economic and political structures throughout the Americas and transoceanic trade networks.
