Mina Quesen


Mina is a member of the class of 2023. She's from Bradenton, Florida and majoring in English with minors in Creative Writing and Gender and Sexuality Studies. Outside of Mellon, she's an editor in chief of the Nassau Weekly, the editor in chief emeritus of Arch and Arrow, and a PAA for Forbes. She focuses on speculative fiction written by women of color, and is excited to be focusing on witches this upcoming year with her Mellon Mentor Christina Leon. Her research interests reflect her creative work as she is also speculative fiction writer. If she's not on campus, she's likely at Junbi, and if she's not at Junbi she can be found wandering with boba tea in hand.
